PCSO raised the combined jackpot prize for 6/55 Grand Lotto and 6/58 Ultra Lotto games to PHP 1 billion
PCSO – The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office announced on Friday that it raised the combined jackpot prize of 6/55 Grand Lotto and 6/58 Ultra Lotto to PHP 1 billion starting December 16, 2023.
According to PCSO, it raised the minimum jackpot prizes for 6/55 Grand Lotto and 6/58 Ultra Lotto to PHP 500 million each as a “Christmas gift” for its loyal bettors.
“Sumatotal ng isang bilyong papremyo ang pwedeng mapanalunan pagsapit ng ika-16 ng Disyembre dahil itataas ang mininum jackpot prize ng Grand Lotto 6/55 at Ultra Lotto 6/58 sa P500 milyon,” the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office said.
The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office also emphasized that 22% of the sales will be contributed to the prize pool in the event of a draw with no winner.
In case there’s a lotto winner, PCSO said that the jackpot prize will be subject to a 20% tax deduction under the TRAIN (Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion) Law. PCSO noted that the jackpot prize will be forfeited to the PCSO Charity Fund under Republic Act 1169 if it remains unclaimed within one year.
The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office has five (5) major lotto games such as the 6/42 Lotto, 6/45 Mega Lotto, 6/49 Super Lotto, 6/55 Grand Lotto, and 6/58 Ultra Lotto. They have different draws.
