PCSO – The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office serves as the primary government agency responsible for generating funds for health initiatives, medical support, charitable causes of national importance, and various welfare projects.
The PCSO organizes and conducts charity sweepstakes, races, and lotteries, while also investing in health and well-being-related ventures to secure consistent and lasting financial resources for its programs. The agency undertakes additional measures to bolster its revenue-generating efforts and enhance its fund management capabilities.
Central to the PCSO’s offerings are its sweepstakes and lottery games. These have evolved over time to stay engaging and appealing, catering to a diverse audience. Different game types and innovations, such as the traditional and scratch-and-match formats and the Small Town Lottery (STL), are continuously explored.
The PCSO administers five 6-number games: Lotto 6/42, MegaLotto 6/45, SuperLotto 6/49, GrandLotto 6/55, and UltraLotto 6/58, all priced at ₱20.00 per combination (inclusive of 20% Documentary Stamp Tax or DST). Each game comes with variations like system play (systems 7 to 12), 5 Roll, and Lucky Pick. Draw schedules and initial jackpot prizes vary among these games.
Additionally, the agency manages 6D, 4D, 3D, and 2D Lotto games, each priced at ₱10.00 per play (inclusive of 20% DST). Draw days, areas of play, and prize amounts differ for these games.
